Naked Tokyo is an international collective of photographers. In their most recent show, with the theme: Contemporary Portraiture from Tokyo, Naked Tokyo artists were encouraged to explode and expand standard assumptions of portraiture by focusing on self-portraiture, sex, eroticism, and anonymous nudity.

This photographic, multi-media exhibition took place for one day only, on May 14th 2007 at Tokyo’s premier art and design event space, Super Deluxe in Roppongi. The event was an outstanding success.

Past shows have been held in Tokyo's Shibuya and Harajuku, and in Kobe.

Key members of the Naked Tokyo team have also produced a unique portfolio of work by Japan's leading photograpers, including Eikoh Hosoe and Daido Moriyama. This limited edition Modern Masters of Photography: Japan portfolio is being sold to raise funds for charity
